take me to the dam!
I made it to Amsterdam! An hour and a half just hanging on the tarmac, but I got here! Lone ranger travel is always a bit weird, it was kindof nice cruising in here alone. Last time I was here was in 2006, and so much (and so little at the same time) has changed. It makes me all reflective.. new years does generally really. I’m staying in this bizarre african themed apartment that has...

On Saturday it snowed. Flakes the size of my hand fell for hours and turned London into a blinding white mare. For me, it was pretty, the park looked like a postcard and I didn’t even care (much) when I had 4 snowballs thrown in my face. Just watched the prettiest snowstorm out of the window at work while sipping on my soup. This weather makes me love soup like I never have before, makes sense. Busy weekend ahead, and no internet. Baking on sunday, should be interesting. It won’t be as fun (or as successful) without my bff-baking-buddy by my side. TGIF x

There’s always one red car in the carpark over the railway track, every day I stand in line with it, a harmless habit. I’ve stopped using my ipod, it doesn’t make the time pass, it makes it stop and linger. ...

cupcakes & beanies
What I’ve been up to.. Bargain hunting at the markets, the highlight was the discovery of Hummingbird cupcakes and the jacket that makes me feel gangs and cost me £10. Catching the overground to work and actually really liking it. The overground is way better than the tube (unless it snows and then it sucks). It’s not that crowded and it’s a nice temperature. People don’t...
